Nymburk used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Baku 93-65 on Tuesday night. Nymburk outrebounded Sabah 48-37 including 22 on the offensive glass. American guard SirJabari Rice (193-1998, college: Texas) fired 22 points and 4 assists for the winners. Cape Verdean-American forward Marcus Santos-Silva (202-1997, college: Texas Tech) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. Nymburk's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench saving starting five for next games. American guard Rob Gray (186-1994, college: Houston) produced 14 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and French power forward Jean-Marc Pansa (209-1997) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Nymburk will meet at home Chalon/Saone in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sabah will play against ALBA and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
